Counselling and Spirituality

I am a person of faith. I discovered Ignatian spirituality over 40 years ago and find this useful in enabling contemplation and discernment leading to action. It is also compatible with many aspects of counselling, most notably the person centred approach, the modality in which I was trained.

I work with people of faith, primarily from the Church of England. I also work with people of no faith but who acknowledge a spiritual side to their lives.

I have carried out CPD relating to spiritual abuse, spirituality and the psychotherapeutic journey, trauma and spirituality.
