Ann Wilson Counsellor

My journey to counselling began nine years ago when there were problems in my marriage. Despite having good friends and a supportive family, it was helpful to speak to a counsellor who didn’t know me and who enabled me to feel heard.

Counselling helped  me to navigate my way through separation and divorce and I decided to train as a therapist in 2014.

I offer you that same non-judgemental listening ear to assist you through what you are experiencing, just as I was given the support I needed.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked overseas teaching English as a Foreign Language and then as a teacher in the UK. For fifteen years, I worked for an international organisation (CAFOD) managing and training volunteers on issues of global justice. I am used to working with different people in a variety of settings .

On a personal level, I am the mother of four young adult sons. I balance my counselling life with cycling, being outdoors and travelling when I can.
